Are you new to bridge? Or returning after a few years of not playing? We have joyful ways for you to connect or reconnect with us to get started off on a pleasant relaxing footing... easy as ABC!

A - BRIDGE IN A NUTSHELL WORKSHOP for beginners or (possibly nervous) returners. This one day workshop offers a solid framework for moving forward to be able to enjoy learning and playing bridge. This event:

- will be offered on demand, when enough participation arises.

- is $20 per player which includes coffee/tea, snacks, easy to follow guidance, a great time, and a handout to take home... no partner is required to participate!

B - BEGINNER SERIES, based on Audrey Grant's "Bridge Basics 1, An Introduction"

- this is an 8-week series, which will follow the next Bridge in a Nutshell workshop.

- is $120 per player which includes coffee/tea, snacks, easy to follow guidance, a great time... no partner is required to participate! The textbook is optional at an additional cost, TBD (as we sell it at cost);

- NEXT OPPORTUNITY - JANUARY 22nd 2025, Wednesdays 1:30-3:30pm.

C - PLAY BRIDGE! Once you feel confident, definitely join the bridge playing gang for any of the following sessions. Note, that you never need to bring your own partner (although you certainly can!) - we will fix you up! The listed sessions are in order of "what should I do first??"

a - PRACTICE SESSIONS - a form of learning that involves playing actual bridge hands, but table talk and consultation with the facilitator are totally encouraged!

- These sessions begin with a 20 minute bridge tip taught; 

- scoring is touched upon, but not the main focus;

- these are drop-in - no registration required - and $10 per player, or your handy dandy paycard;

- are held 2 times weekly: Thursday mornings, 10-12noon; Friday mornings, 10-12noon. 

b - Relaxed Duplicate Bridge Games!

A great game to start with is Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:30pm, come a little early (6:10) for a useful bridge tip!

- play in a low key competitive environment (with some guidance from your friendly facilitator), add this to your list of bridge events...

- each session is $10 (or you can purchase a handy dandy paycard for $100, giving you an 11th session free)

- you can come with or without your own partner;

A - COMPETITIVE BIDDING! Audrey Grant's Bridge Basics 2

- Tuesday mornings, 10-12noon beginning January 14th, to run for 8 weeks;

- LEARN how to interfere in the opponent's auction...

- and artillery to handle the opponents when they interfere in your auction!

- $120 per player, which includes presentations, refreshments, and a great time! Text is extra and optional.

B - DEFENSE!! This is a specialized course designed by Jill to help cement good defensive habits, to get the most out of each deal when defending with your partner... and so that you can play with ANY decent partner and feel like you are communicating effectively.

- Saturday mornings, 10am-12noon, beginning January 11th , to run for 8 weeks;

- perfect for all advancing players, particularly those wondering if there is something missing from your defensive tool box... and not always getting the results you want....

- $130 per player, which includes presentations, notes accompanying each class (so, no text book necessary to purchase), refreshments, and a great time!

C - BRIDGE in a NUTSHELL Workshop:

- Wednesday January 15th! 1:15 til 4:15pm...

- this workshop is intended to introduce brand new players to bridge, to see if it's the game for you...
