BRIDGE in a NUTSHELL Workshop:
- Wednesday January 15th! 1:15 til 4:15pm...
- this workshop is intended to introduce brand new players to bridge, to see if it's the game for you...
- $20 per player, which covers the presentation, coffee/tea & refreshments, notes to take home, and hopefully a wonderful time!

BEGINNER COURSE:
- begins Wednesday January 22nd to run for 8 weeks, 1:30-3:30pm each week;
- great for true beginners, anyone returning to bridge after a hiatus, and anyone simply wanting to review the basics and cement a strong foundation.
- $120 for the 8 weeks... $100 if you attended the above workshop (Bridge in a Nutshell.)

Monday afternoons 12:30pm - Friendly open game for everyone! $10 per player, or your handy dandy paycard.
Tuesday afternoons 12:30pm, also a growing concern... doing well as an ACBL sanctioned game - all welcome - fee is $10 or your paycard..
Wednesday mornings, 10:00am-1pm - RISE & SHINE open game! But not too early... lets us leave home for bridge after the heavy morning traffic settles down... join a great bunch of players for a pleasant bridge game, open to everyone! $10 or your paycard.
Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:30pm - SAFE ZONE duplicate bridge game for newer players, or those looking for a nice soft gentle slow pace of bridge - where questions can occasionally be asked and answered. All are welcome, for the purpose of supporting the newer and advancing players. Just $10 or your paycard... come by 6:10 for a Q&A opportunity if you wish!
Thursday afternoons - 12:30pm - open sanctioned game - ALL ARE WELCOME. a bridge tip will be presented at 12:10 every Thursday afternoon, just before the game... bring your lunch and relax while the instructor does all the work!
Friday afternoons 12:30pm... Game - $10 or your paycard... come for an awesome relaxing way to end your week! Everyone welcome!

Saturday February 8th - all about NO TRUMP bidding! Stayman, transfers, gerber, quantitative...
Saturday March 8th - NO TRUMP SLAM BIDDING! (i.e. getting to slam after we've opened the bidding with no-trump 👌).
Saturday April 12th - DYNAMIC DISCARDING on DEFENSE! Avoiding helping the declarer win extra tricks because of sloppy throw aways (discarding).
Saturday May 10th - DEFENSE! To Lead or NOT to Lead a Trump (on opening lead).
Saturday June 14th - HELP SUIT GAME TRY... assessing if our hands fit together well to try a game contract.

In this specialized session:
- the players play 12 or 13 hands, each deal involving one or more cool conventions - so...
- the opportunity to encounter good hands with funky conventions will exist...
- but players will not know in advance what the scenario will be...
- all hands can be bid with standard methods, so a partnership does not have to play anything fancy in order to enjoy the adventure and camaraderie of this event...
- and I will be on hand to help any players wishing for advice or consultation- but only if you wish.
What conventions could wind up being used? Anything you play is fair game (transfers, inverted minors, new minor forcing, RKCB, etc...). Everything is up to the partnership.
Opportunities will exist for something adventurous in every deal, and all players will get fair play time.
