12:30-3:30pm - OPEN game - all welcome! Only $10 which gets you an afternoon of bridge, great company and coffee/tea and treats! Just $10 or your paycard. Come in time for the handy dandy bridge tip presented at 12:10.... bring your lunch if you wish! No partner necessary 🤩

12:30-3:30pm - OPEN GAME - an afternoon of bridge, great company and coffee/tea and treats! Just $10 or your paycard. 🌟

Wednesday December 11th:

10:00-1:00pm - Early Bird OPEN GAME - ALL WELCOME!  $10 or your paycard, no partner required! 

6:30-8:30pm - SAFE ZONE Beginner duplicate game - all welcome! Come a little early if you wish for a Q&A at 6:10. No partner necessary, come as you are 😎.

Thursday December 12th:

10:00-12noon - practice session for newer (or refreshing!) players! We begin with a useful bridge tip, and then you can play and learn in a safe environment, playing at your own pace, where tabletalk and questions are allowed (encouraged!) Just $10 or your paycard. 🎊

12:30-3:30pm -  OPEN GAME! $10 per player or your paycard... all welcome! We start the afternoon with a pre-game tip at 12:10... bring your lunch if you wish, enjoy!  🐝

Friday December 13th:

10:00-12noon - practice session for newer players! We begin with an illuminating bridge tip, and then you can play and learn in a safe environment, playing at your own pace, where tabletalk and questions are allowed (encouraged!) Just $10 or your paycard. 

12:30-3:30pm - open stratified duplicate game, ACBL sanctioned - $10 or your paycard. Super friendly , super fun, low key... great way to end the week!

Sunday December 15th:

1:00-4:30pm... CHRISTMAS PARTY TEAM GAME! Want to play but need help finding teammates? Let me know, I can help - the sooner the better for your best chance of success! 🤶

The Bridge Connection provides a safe pleasant atmosphere for players of all levels to come and play comfortably.

Everyone is welcome at this club, and no one will ever be refused a game for not having a partner, or being able to pay the admission. The only requirement to play at the Bridge Connection is the propensity to be kind and engage in great sportsmanship.

Coffee and tea are always provided, as well as treats and snacks. The bridge club provides much of it, but many of the players keep the goodies replenished. Thank you to all who contribute!

New Year’s Eve POTLUCK BRIDGE GAME

• bridge from 7-10pm
• but come as early as 6:00pm to share in a lovely meal…
• $15 per player - ALL proceeds to go to Soul’s Harbour (so no paycards)
• partner is not guaranteed, unless I know in advance - just send me a quick email and I will do my very best to accommodate.
• potluck contributions are much appreciated… as well…
• DID you receive a little something under the Christmas tree or in your stocking that you just know you will never take out of its package? Rewrap it and bring it to the party - and at halftime we will regift/draw so that everyone who brings a gift will get a new gift back! After that - I will turn my head if you guys want to do any tradesies 🥳.

*if your significant other does not play bridge, leaving you unable to participate in this event - feel free to bring them along between 6-7:00 to share in the awesome fellowship (and food!) that you get to enjoy year round!

*drinking will be encouraged to be partaken at a minimum - BYOB. Bridge and drinking do not mix well, let alone driving on a dark cold NYE night 🕊️

 For 'emergency' phone calls TO players during a club session, it is permissable to use the above number, and I (Jill) will get the message immediately to the teacher or director running the bridge session - as players will usually have their own personal cellphones muted while in session.

Are you eager to play at the Bridge Connection but are anxious about travelling from another area of HRM (Bedford, Halifax, Sackville, etc), either because of:

- the price of gas

- the travel time spent on the road?

Have you considered pairing (or teaming) up with others in the same boat (or, ahem, car)? If you are interested, let me know, and I can possibly link you with others from the same area who might be attending bridge sessions at the same time as you. It's a fabulous way to make new friends! And possibly even future bridge partners!
